Our Work

Church Planting Resident

Eric Chesney

Eric Chesney is a COS Network Church Planting Resident, a full-time role focused on launching a church in the Pikes Peak Region in the next year. Launch: September 2024

I'm married to Jerusalem and we have five kids Jr high and younger. I love learning, reading, and dropping C.S. Lewis quotes as often as possible (sorry, not sorry). I enjoy hiking, climbing, Jeeping (yep, it's a verb), black coffee, long and leisurely conversations, puns, playing and watching soccer with the fam, and becoming more fully human as Jesus draws me into the life of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

You can reach Eric at eric.chesney@restorationcos.org.

Church Planting Apprentice

Chase Whitney

Chase Whitney is a COS Network Church Planting Apprentice, a half-time role focused on discerning a call to planting and training for pastoral development. Chase serves at both IAC and HTAC in preparation for a potential church plant in the Pikes Peak Region. Potential launch: Summer 2026.

My family and I moved from south Louisiana to the Springs in February, 2021 to enjoy the outdoors. Little did we know the Lord would also be moving us into deeper places of healing and trust with Him through this church planting apprenticeship opportunity. I bring five years of previous experience as a pastor, one and a half of which involved church planting. My wife, Jess, along with our two kids, Cohen and Sophia, like being outside and sharing quality time with friends.

You can reach Chase at chase@cosanglican.org.
